With our economy growing ever more diversified and complex, there’s a clear need for skills-based hiring that focuses on a candidate’s verified skills. Facilitating this shift is a primary objective of the Open Skills Network (OSN). In the next OSN Skills Showcase, you’ll hear how two OSN members, Walmart and U.S. Air Force, are utilizing skills and badging in their organizations. They’ll offer advice and insights on the benefits of this approach and describe the future landscape for skills-based hiring and training. Hosted by Kelly Ryan Bailey of Skills Baby, the OSN Skills Showcase will be held via WebEx on Thursday, May 20 at 2 p.m. EDT/12 p.m. MDT.
